Chapter Three — Education: Sharing Knowledge and Wisdom

From the beginning of the learning continuum in the first four years through the highest levels of graduate school, the most extensive education possible for each individual determines not only each person’s “success” in life but also the strength, resilience and fairness of our entire society. Unfortunately, the promise of that equal opportunity to the fullest possible education has not rung true for too many Americans. Unless the American people insist on a course correction to restore credibility to that promise, it will ring all the more hollow.
